The doors open and close just like the real thing, and the driver stays seated even during rough play. My son has been staging emergencies all afternoon.

The opening rear doors and the little driver figure are what sold me — my son spends ages loading and unloading the "patient." Wheels roll smoothly on the carpet too, no wobbling like the cheaper trucks we've been through.

My nephew hasn't put this down since it arrived, mostly because the driver figure actually fits in the cab instead of rolling around loose. The rear doors open wide enough that he can load his little stretcher in, which he does about fifty times a day. Solid little truck, way sturdier than the cheap
