The diesel engine runs noticeably smoother than my old toy excavator, and the larger bucket scoops up a ton of sand in one go. My kid has been digging in the yard for hours without a single hiccup.
The diesel engine sound is surprisingly realistic and my son won't put it down. Having three different buckets to swap out keeps him busy for hours in the sandbox.
The bucket actually scoops and dumps real dirt, which my son figured out in about two minutes. Tracks roll smoothly over gravel and the arm has a nice stiff joint so it holds a pose. It's been outside every day this week and hasn't cracked yet.
