The side-pivoting excavator arm works perfectly for digging in our crowded flower beds without knocking things over. It's surprisingly sturdy and the controls are smooth enough for a 4-year-old to operate.
My little guy has been running this thing across the patio for a week straight, and the compact size means he can navigate between the planters without knocking anything over. The pivoting arm keeps him entertained for hours, spinning it side to side like he's on a real job site.
