Picked this up for our smaller hay fields and the running gear makes hooking up and moving between pastures a breeze. The working width covers ground quickly, and the build quality feels solid enough to handle daily use.
The folding mechanism on the tedder is solid and locks in place cleanly, so it takes up less shed space than I expected when not in use. Hooked it up to my tractor and ran it over a damp patch of hay—it fluffed everything up evenly without clogging once.
The running gear makes it track really well behind the tractor, even on uneven ground. I've been using it on about 10 acres of hay and the spreading is noticeably more even than my old setup. The tines handle thick grass without clogging.
