My son is rough on toys but this loader has survived being dropped down the stairs twice already. The compact 2000 class design means it actually fits in his little hands, and the bale gripper moves just like the real thing. Well worth it.
The bale gripper actually pinches the round bale tight instead of letting it slip, which surprised me for a toy this size. My son has been hauling hay around the living room for two days straight, and nothing has snapped off yet. Solid little loader.
My kid spends hours loading and unloading the hay bales with this thing, and the gripper jaws hold them tight without crushing. The articulated steering makes it surprisingly easy to maneuver in tight barn corners.
