The Jaguar 980 is the largest forage harvester in the range from harvesting specialist Claas. With the impressive performance of a V12 diesel engine delivering 884 hp and newly developed drive and harvesting systems, this machine is ideal for use wherever large fields need to be harvested quickly and efficiently. A highly detailed 1:16 scale model is now an addition to Bruder's agricultural range. The forage harvester's impressive corn head is equipped with six driven intake discs, and the discharge spout can be playfully rotated in any desired direction. Opening doors and hood provide a view of the detailed driver's cab and impressive engine, further underscoring Bruder's credo, "just like the real thing." Another highlight are the interchangeable wheels, which further enhance the play value. This fantastic vehicle can be expanded with the Mechanic Set (item no. 62100).

The rotating drum and spout actually work, which makes it feel more like the real machine my cousin operates. My son spent an hour loading pretend corn silage into a toy trailer.

My kid has been obsessed with forage harvesters since we drove past a farm last summer, and this one has held up to daily play for months now. The detailing on the pickup header and the sheer size of it next to his other tractors make it the clear favorite in his collection.

The V12 engine detail on this thing is wild for a toy — my nephew noticed right away that it sounds different when he pushes it across the rug. The chopper spout actually swivels too, which he wasn't expecting. Solid build, nothing's fallen off after two weeks of hard play.
