The steering wheel actually turns the front wheels, which makes maneuvering the pallets around my desk surprisingly satisfying. The die-cast metal chassis gives it a nice weight that plastic toys just don't have.
My grandson spends hours loading and unloading the included wooden pallets with the Linde H30D — the Porsche-inspired design detail really caught his eye. It's sturdy enough to handle his rough play, and the fork mechanism works smoothly for a toy this size.
The pallets are a nice touch since my kid can actually load and unload them instead of just pushing the forklift around. The Porsche design lines look sharp too, way better than the plain toy trucks he's had before.
