Compare the Bruder 02678 UPS Sprinter and 02670 Transfer Van side by side. Find out which toy delivery truck suits your child's play style and budget.
Quick answer
Choose the Bruder 02678 UPS Sprinter for realistic delivery role-play, or the Bruder 02670 Transfer Van for versatile transport scenarios on a lower budget.
Play style and realism
The UPS Sprinter comes with driver and accessories that match the familiar brown delivery trucks children see in real life. That makes it a natural fit for pretend package delivery games.
The Transfer Van lacks a branded theme but its blank sides encourage open-ended play—it can be a school bus, airport shuttle, or crew transporter. The opening doors on cab and rear add extra access for loading figures or cargo.
Budget and value
The Transfer Van is priced about 30% lower than the UPS version, making it a more affordable entry into the Bruder Sprinter line. If your child prefers generic vehicles that can be anything, this saves money without losing the core Sprinter play experience.
The UPS model costs more but includes branded decals and a themed driver set. For kids who love imitating real delivery services, the extra cost buys instant recognition and focused play.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Branded play vs open-ended play: The UPS Sprinter gives you a ready-made delivery theme with accessories. The Transfer Van has no branding, so kids can turn it into a bus, shuttle, or anything else.
- Price difference: The Transfer Van costs roughly 30% less than the UPS Sprinter. If you want a Sprinter without the branded premium, the Transfer Van is the budget-friendly choice. Check your budget first—the Transfer Van offers more flexibility for less money.
- Features and details: Both have opening doors, but the Transfer Van features doors on both cab and rear. The UPS model comes with a driver figure and branded accessories that add immediate play value.
