Compare the Bruder 02180 Fendt Vario 211 and 09814 John Deere 5115M on size, price, and play fit. See which compact tractor toy suits your farm setup.
Quick answer
Choose the Bruder 02180 Fendt Vario 211 if you want the lower-priced compact tractor for general farm play. Choose the Bruder 09814 John Deere 5115M if you prefer the John Deere branding and need the listed 10.2 x 5 x 6.3-inch footprint to plan storage or a display shelf.
Price and brand are the clearest split
The Fendt Vario 211 lists at USD 20.40 against a USD 32.90 comparison price, while the John Deere 5115M lists at USD 24.47 against USD 33.99. Both are discounted in the catalog, but the Fendt costs less at checkout, which matters if you are buying several tractors for a farm set or a gift.
Brand loyalty is the other practical difference. The 5115M carries John Deere tags, so it pairs naturally with a John Deere-heavy collection. The Fendt is tagged for Agriculture and tractor play, making it a neutral addition to a mixed farm layout.
Size information is only supplied for one model
The John Deere 5115M is listed at 10.2 x 5 x 6.3 inches, which gives you a concrete number for shelf space, storage bins, or matching against other vehicles. The Fendt Vario 211 record does not include dimensions, so you cannot compare footprints directly from the catalog. If exact sizing drives your decision, the 5115M is the safer choice because its measurements are stated.
Neither listing supplies scale, age rating, or accessory compatibility. Treat those as open questions and check the packaging or ask the store before buying if your child expects to hook up existing implements.
Where each tractor fits in play
Both are compact farm tractor toys suited to general farm-themed play, so the choice comes down to budget, brand preference, and whether you need known dimensions. The Fendt works well as a first tractor or an extra unit in a field scene. The John Deere 5115M suits a collection built around John Deere equipment and benefits from its listed size when you are planning a display.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Price vs. brand: The Fendt Vario 211 saves money at USD 20.40, while the John Deere 5115M costs USD 24.47 but carries John Deere branding. Set a per-tractor budget before choosing if you are buying more than one.
- Known size vs. unknown size: Only the John Deere 5115M lists dimensions (10.2 x 5 x 6.3 inches). The Fendt record has no size data, so measure your space and confirm if exact fit matters.
- Collection fit: Pick the 5115M for a John Deere-themed farm and the Fendt for a mixed-brand layout or a lower-cost starter tractor. Check which brands already dominate your child's toy farm before adding another.
